takes a deep breath and peeks over Kirstens shoulder, seeing its clear for the moment she almost relaxes, enough to answer her new friends question.

"I hope there is some family out there, I mean this is my chance, our chance…" she smiles warmly at Kirsten, a sense of hope… a sense of normalacy around her. She peels off that heavy bike helmet letting her shoulder length dark hair touch her shoulders, she drops the helmet carefullyonto the roof, noticing Kirstens loose clothing she wishes she could have taken some precaution herself, tight jeans and a tight v-neck tshirt is not the kind of attire one wears for a Zomebie appocalypse.

she frowns recognising her almost hopeless situation, reaching out she gives Kirstens hand a comforting squeeze and nods assuradily "He is alive, I betcha he is." she hopes her smile is warming as she moves out onto the roof peering around carefully, she carries a tire iron and a loaded 6 shooter, well some form of it anyway, all she knows is the safety is free and its ready to kill.

She looks into the darkness, funny how light polution can alter how you might perceive things, but from her current vantage point she can see that the rooftops are free, no zeds seem to be roaming about she skuttles towards the next doorway and turns the key, with the door locked behind them it seems this is the only way. So far the pointed arrows and guides have fortunatly led to safe areas…. Cathey tries to stay aware and pushes the door open…
