so sleepy.

Apologies for the dramatic image, I’m feeling much better after a single good night’s rest.  But this insomnia appears like it’s here to stay.

For the past 7 months or so now I’ve had a lot of trouble with sleep.  I think a part of it is because I need to maintain cat-like readiness in case of a home intruder. The stress at work is not helping either.  I can’t blame this thing entirely on my lack of presence lately, but it’s definitely contributing.  I hope to have some new artwork up this weekend, so  I’ll just sweep this picture under the pile with the rest of the old blog news.  At least the weekends are nice because I can sleep in! :D

alright, have a good weekend, more sexy time artwork on the way soon, and sorry if I’m unreachable sometimes lol.  My mind is elsewhere.

Insomnia is not a condition to have, I hope you are feeling better soon and get consistent nights rest.

Been there and wouldn’t want to go there again. Staying up all night isn’t any fun when you don’t have a choice in the matter.
Hope you have a good and restfull weekend.

So when can we expect your equivalent of Tyler Durden to appear? I’m almost afraid to think of what he’d be like… >.> :P

I was just thinking this… The drawing reminded me a lot of the Narrator’s monologues in the beginning of Fight Club. Excellent film btw.

I’ve had insomnia but never as long as 6 months, maybe three at the most. I wont insist on meds but do try multiple cups of heated green tea with multiple tea spoons of honey.

too much bad stress puts you there and not enough makes you draw happy things rather than the awesomeness on here.
I’ve a few things that work for me, but they only work when I let them(I do over work myself).

    These all help me sleep:
peppermint tea – just like hot ribena, familiar & relaxing
a nice long run/jog – helps me think or not think, depends what is needed
sharing a bath with my other half – letting her take care of me, it really works
a shower followed by a massage – full body or just where my muscles are knotted
    or
chill out music/ scented candles – don’t know if thats your thing but it does help, though the ones I have are outdoor smells as I’m a very out of doors type of person. and music varies from violin concertos(Bach) to rammstein.

these are all suggestions I shall try! I’m not a big tea person, but I take herbal sleep pills ( nothing medicinal) and those work sometimes! :D I like the idea of the wife taking care of me. ^_^ I’ll try to talk her into that tomorrow maybe. ^_^

Going for a run or a martial arts class usually means I sleep like a rock afterwards – you might want to give it a shot :)

Hope you manage to get some sleep in this weekend!

Read a boring book. College textbooks with dull, nonengaging language work GREAT.
