Insectomancer

the Insectnomancer is a dark sorcerer capable of reanimating swarms of dead bugs to do its evil bidding. Insectnomancers hail from The Vecumar, a city that dangles like a bloated beehive above a lake of slime, in a pocket of reality obscured from man’s eyes.  There they are able to conduct their terrible ‘research’ in peace, the screams of their victims the only sounds cascading down their hollow halls.  An Insectnomancer can create 2 kinds of zombies, the aforementioned insect variety, and a more traditional style by injecting their undead spawn into live or dead prey, and allowing their tiny undead take over a victim’s body from the inside out. They operate with cool indifference and subject their victims to any misery in the name of their studies, which often end badly.  Their city is the hub of their entire civilization, and Vecumar appears to be the only Insectnomancer city in existence.  There are never more than 1000 Insectnomancers, and procreation rituals are a closely guarded secret.
